anchor bay has hellraiser 2's dvd picture up on there site if anyone cared. i never hellraiser 1 in the tin so i am excited about getting this. :)
i just wish they would use original cover art for their movies not ones ive never seen before. i liked the old vhs cover with pinhead and the chick centobite.

i've not seen this new cover. is it the one with pinhead above the title and tiffany sitting, light coming out of the box?
if so, it's the old UK box. they used the UK sleeve for the EVIL DEAD 2 re-issue, so I guess they might useit for H2.
Nice that ABīs "Hellbound" disc is now in view, hope I can afford to order it soon enough. I also noticed itīs no "original" cover-art, think it looks okay but AB should give Pinheadīs head the original blue color back.
By the way, if I know the "X-rated" version of Hellbound, what more does the "Unrated" version show me then?
Now that is as weird as some horror movies are. Not any reply on my question to a movie like "Hellbound"? I just wanted to know what the AB "Unrated" version shows more than the old "X-rated" version? I thought so many people have the Hellraiser-Tin, nobody knows or nobody willing to tell me? Come on, please ;)

Check out the "Alternate Versions" listing on the IMDb here: http://us.imdb.com/AlternateVersions?0095294
Hmmm, I knew the IMDb info. It didnīt answer my questions about the X-rated to Unrated difference and what exactly the AB version includes. So I asked here and thought any of the thousands of people who have the Tin could tell. Details like "ABīs version runs longer in this scene, has more of that scene, has or has not the Kirstyīs Room scene" and so on... is Hellp on the way? ;)

The Tin includes the R rated cut of Hellraiser, a few hammer blows more than the UK version, but still cut.
Hellraiser 2 is the unrated cut and includes the extra scene in hell you mentioned. However on the HR2 commentry track they mention that a gorier cut of the film was intended/exists somewhere. Just a pity the first is cut :(

this is no longer true. the widescreen DVD print in the UK is 100% identical to the AB DVD (I've got both).
The AB is cropped quite considerably, but the r2 VCI image is very poor in comparison, and distorted. So as usual it's best avoided anyway.
