Just finished watching the 60 minute (PAL) Document of the Dead documentary that's on the 2-disc Region 2 Dawn of the Dead DVD. My first time seeing it; I enjoyed it a lot. I'll elaborate in the review.
Anyway, I'm probably going to buy Synapse's DVD soon. I'm slightly confused by the differences between the two. From what I can come up with, Synapse's has:
- Audio Commentary Track by director Roy Frumkes and Others
- Approx. 6 Minutes of Footage Deleted from the Original Release
- Never Before Seen Interview Segments from the Set of TWO EVIL EYES
Besides those differences, and perhaps better video quality on the Synapse DVD, I'm assuming they're basically the same. Am I right on this?
I'm confused because I recall readering that there was another Dawn documentary floating around that was available on Japanese laserdisc. Is that true?
Thanks.
