I've been out to rent this movie for a while, and my local blockbuster doesn't have it, now I know they used to have it, because I remember seeing it on the shelves...so I try my luck at around 3 other rental places, no luck, what is the deal, I know 3 out of 4 of the places I went have had them, can anyone tell me if this movie is out of print, or anything usefull....
thanks

Usually something going out of print has no affect on it being a rental. They have no reason to get rid of the video, if anything, it may increase the rental of that movie. Maybe there is just a high demand for the movie in your area, and it's causing a great amount of theft ;-) hehe. I know all the copies of Redneck Zombies in my area were stolen :-) hehe

Shame on you for renting from blockbuster-- the enemies of independent film. They promote censorship., and they are trying to convince all thge major studios to do rental pricing on DVD *(all new releases will cost about $100 for the first 6 mos. so you have to rent them from Blockbuster if you want to see them within tghe first 6 mos. of release) DAMN THEM! DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!
BLOCKBUSTER IS EVIL--umm,a lil; off-topic but i can't help it.

Holy Crap! I didn't know Blockbuster is trying to impose rental prices on DVD's! Glad I never rented from them.

I'm surprised DVD companies have resisted rental prices up 'till now...!

That is true. VHS is becoming more obsolete by the day as DVD is taking over. I don't think we'll have to worry about rental prices on DVD's while a recordable DVD isn't an option for the consumer at the moment. It doesn't matter, I have never rented a DVD in my life and will never rent them. VHS is my preview stock and will happily rent them.

Cannibal Corpse,
TCM 3 does not go by the actual name of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre III" or anything simular. It goes by the name of "Leatherface". You may or may not have realized that, but I thought I'd clue you in on that. I remember when I was first looking for it years ago I couldn't find it either, because I was looking under the wrong name.
