I would have to go with Martin. A brilliant film, one of the best of the 70's IMO, that is grossly underrated. A realistic, disturbing, and at times touching, view of alienation. And a highly original look at the vampire genre.

So what's yours? :)

Creepshow....one of the best movies to come out of the 80's.

I love Knightriders. I can't tell you how many times I have watched it. I love that whole medieval thing, though and the actors in it are awesome!!

I was torn between Martin , Crrepshow and Knightridders.

I ended up picking Creepshow.

I chose Martin but boy was that a tough call. I absolutely love Romero's non zombie work. Knightriders, Season of The Witch, and Creepshow are definitly some of my favorite films of all time.

It is a tough choice between Creepshow and Monkey Shines for me, but since Shines got a little bizarre near the climax, I will go with Creepshow. Cool poll!

You just gotta love Creepshow's charm. Though part 2 was a bit lame, the original stands a true masterpiece. The Dark Half gets runner up. ;)

I love Martin. It just has this feel to it that sucks you in to the film. Romero did a beautiful job showing a young man dealing with his vampirism. Its highly under-appreciated if you ask me. One of his best works.

The real beauty of MARTIN (for me at least) is that you never truely know if he's a "by the book" vampire or just a young man with a mental illness. This film is easily one of my top 5 films ever.

I went with Creepshow , one of my favorite films as a kid. Runner-ups would be Martin and Monkey Shines . I've still not seen The Crazies .

Gee, and I thought I'd be alone in liking Knightriders the most....

Wow, how'd I miss a sweet poll like this? I picked Martin, but Knightriders came in a close second, and the rest I love, except for The Crazies and Season of the Witch.

I love Creepshow. An outstanding movie that I have watched dozens of times over the years.
Romero has done some awesome work over the years, but I have to admit that I have still not seen Bruiser.

It was also hard for me choosing between Martin and Knightriders...I went with Martin. I also really like Creepshow, The Crazies, Season of the Witch, and Monkey Shines.

I guess I'm the only one here who really loves tne Crazies. Damn! :eek1: Well at Least no one votes for Seasons of the Witch which I think is Romero's worst film.

I hardly feel that Seasons of the Witch is Romero's worst. That award goes to Brusier without a doubt. Poor George... :(

Creepshow is one of those films that I can watch any time and still enjoy it. There are very few films that I can say that about and for that Creepshow gets my vote.

I voted for Martin because There's Always Vanilla wasn't on there. It is a tie between those two movies.

I also go with MARTIN. I remember seeing in Providence, RI at the 1979 Woirld Fantasy Convention, just after a panel with Romero and Richard Rubinstein.
I was quite impressed. In fact, I liked it better than NOTLD.

CREEPSHOW is my second favorite of the group.
Oddly enough, I got to see it for the first time at the 1982 World Fantasy Convention, in an advance showing (It was also one of the last conventions that Stephen King actually showed up at).

I think Martin is by far Romero's best non living dead movie. It's incredilbly original the setting is great and the ambiguity of the film is unsettling. I have not seen Season of the Witch yet although I really want to
