I've been waiting to see Legion of the Dead. Olaf Ittenbach is one hell of a director when it comes to dishing out the gore (Black Past, Burning Moon, Premutos). German underground cinema kicks ass!

I haven't heard the specs on Legion, but I hope its uncut.

All of those look great except 8 Legged Freaks. I saw that in the theaters and asked for my money back.

I saw the trailer for Wishmaster 4 on the video of The Pool. Yikes, I don't think I'll be picking this one up. Eww. The only thing I could think when it was over was "Holy crap! That CG fire looked really really bad." (There was lots of bad CG fire in the trailer)

Also good to see the sequel to everyone's favorite John Carpenter Vampire movie, Vampires: Los Muertos starring Jon Bon Jovi and some guy who looks like he may or may not be Theo Huxtable from the Cosby Show.

Isn't Vampires: Los Muertos going to get a theatrical release or did I miss it?

i see nothing about a big screen release for this title.

if it happened it did not have much staying power.
like eddie murphy's lastest movie.out of here

dvd release date (9-24)
with director's commentary.

Some of those titles are crap, Jason X? I can't believe anybody would spend money on that. I'm a Friday The 13th fan and I would never spend a dime on that. I would however, spend money on some early 80's crapfests that are coming out October 1st!

UNHINGED and GRADUATION DAY! :)

With Blade 2, they gave a coupon, where you get a rebate if you buy Jason X, so if it's cheap enough, it'd be worth it. I'd rent it, but damn, again, like most of you on this forum, I like to own films. Anybody else see that deal in the Blade 2 dvd. Can't remember it exactly.

I won't be picking up any of those titles either. I saw Dog Soldiers and I did like it but not enough to own it. It was like Aliens meets The Howling.

I'll definetly get Jason X, not only because I loved it, but to use the NL $5 rebate too. Others that'll probably end up in my collection are: Halloween: Resurrection, 8 Legged Freaks, Dog Soldiers, Elvira's Haunted Hills and maybe Vampires, since it was helmed by Tommy Lee Wallace, it could have potential.

I didn't care too much for Jason X myself, so I'll probably see if I can find it for rent.

A couple more titles I would add to the list,

Last House on Dead End Street
I Spit on Your Grave: ME (w/ Joe Bob Briggs commentary!)

Can't wait to hear that commentary! :D

I rented Slashers last night. (My video store puts things out way early) It was a nice wacky horror movie with all the fun Series 7 would have delivered if it wasn't so damn set on being Art. The host of the show looks like a Japanese Neve Campbell and the theme song will be stuck in your head for a week it seems. The American version is pretty packed and unrated. (Our neighbors to the north will be getting a cut version w/o commentary.) I really don't need to own it but it is definately worth a rental.

$lasher$...SUPER FUN!
