NEW Godzilla DVD Box Set Review

Yes it is, in a killer Japanese DVD, it has a re-mastered transfer and is 100% uncut and in Japanese (no crappy dubbing!) but it has no english subtitles :(

Damnit. I've been patiently waiting for good releases of these classics. Godzilla has been a huge part of my film influence since I was 4 yrs. old, so this pisses me off to no end. I may have to try and order the Simitar discs or at least the Jap. versions, just as long as I can get them uncut and in their OAR, I'll be OK.

The Japanese DVDs are the only uncut version perfect versions, but they are 100% in Japanese with no subtitles to speak of, and they are pretty pricey imports and your DVD Player must be able to play them.

I will try to find some on-line reviews of them so that you know what to expect from them.

Remember these are Region 2 code discs with no English subtitles or dubbing and, naturally, the text is almost all written in Japanese!

Damn and my high school did not offer Japanese for a language

there are Hong Kong R3 dvds of Godzilla 2k and Godzilla X Megaguirus that have english subtitles. you can pick up both for less than $10 each. and they are legit titles, not bootlegs (there are bootleg dvds of other G films released by fans that include the uncut versions plus burnt in english subs)
