This was a horrible film. :(

Not even Grizzly Adams or Linda Blair could have saved this mess.

Ugh, can't stand to watch ANY Dan Haggerty movie. ELVES was the worst and I'll doubt THE CHILLING could be any better even tho this film was made near where I was born and raised. :D

Linda Blairs best horror movie was Hell Night (1981) IMHO.

But I have not seen this one

Hell Night? I know it seems so cliche, but The Exorcist is easily her best work and one of the greatest horror movies of all time.

The new DVD by Code Red apparently features the 'Director's Cut' of this with a running time of 105 minutes, does anyone know if this means it will contain more gore, since the version I saw was quite dry (and quite bad too, that won't change :) )

Hell Night is boring,no gore,no acting sludge. There are far beter Linda Blair flicks out there.

Speaking of Blair, I wish Nightforce (1987) with her and Richard Lynch would come out on DVD.

Can't remember much from it, but I know I've seen it. I do remember a cool song though, which I think was sung by Linda Blair (?).

Is this really a slasher? In Jamie Russell's Book of the Dead, he lists it as a zombie film.

^ Xploited Cinema lists it as InStock (http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/chilling-directors-p-14155.html), which means Tony has it in hand. So it looks like it'll make it out Tuesday.

Saw this on the shelf when I stopped by at Best Buy earlier today. Definitely was digging the cover art but still was undecided as to purchase it or not. Any more reviews/opinions on this one?

I haven't seen that since it ran on USA UP ALL NIGHT ages ago. With Blair's SAVAGE STREETS finally getting a legit release maybe somebody will snap up the rights to this one.

Its not the greatest film, but it has its moments and the DVD is nicely done. If you enjoy 80's movies, it's worth checking out.

I love some of the subtle humor on the nameplates of the cryo-tanks in the movie...like Ayatollah Khomeini
