Your friend is stupid. Go over to the slashers forum, there's more than enough info on the subject over there.

In short, when (if), there is a box set, it'll only be 1-8, becuase New Line owns JGTH and JX and they aren't going to doubly release it. So just cross your fingers and hope Paramount does us right.

I predict an SE box set from Paramount no later than 2010. Maybe.

Lol all i want right now is a pt 7 collectors edition, its the only one im still holdin out on.. i just bought pt 4 for 13.99 at dvdempire but its on backorder... at least pt 4 comes with the OG cover, and the trailor. the pt 7 is overpriced and has NOTHING for extras...

I wonder if hellraiser & halloween will ever get a collectors box set...

Halloween has a boxset in the UK. it should be coming out anytime now. includes 1-7, except 6 (for some odd reason). being released by Anchor Bay.

maybe they didnt include 6 cause its the worst in the series LOL, IMO, they coulda left pt 3 out also i dont count it as a member in the series cause it was a disapointment ..

Wow - I always felt part 3 had it's charms - a little slasher, a little Invasion of the Body Snatchers sci-fi stuff thrown into the mix. To tell you the truth - the only one after 3 that I enjoyed was H20 - I thought the beginning of that film was done perfectly and captured the original's feel - but it has moments where I cringe. Still love that music though...

Part III sucked eggs. They really ought to pull it from the Halloween series. Stupid mistake.

part 3 is great! much better than most of the other Halloween sequels.

I enjoyed Part 3 as well. I think H20 is by far the worst in the series. I used to think Part 5 was the worst, but it's a masterpiece next to H20.

...if Halloween 3 was its own movie (maybe titled simply Season Of The Witch) U'd guys would give it more props. Its a good stand alone feature, not to mention U can find the DVD for about $5 at K-mart & such.

Well, certainly each to their own. I like H2O.

Sorry, but the whole thing about Stonehenge just doesn't fly. Halloween III is just plain daft. I agree, it should be a film apart from the series, but personally, nothing is going to change my mind about the daft ending.

Yeah, I don't like HALLOWEEN 3. And it's not as "underrated" as everyone thinks it is. It's decent but not really any good.

Saw "Halloween 3" and "They Live" again not long ago, and I think they're both fine movies with the Carpenter touch, a very nice double. -How can you not love the scene were that stupid family gets it in the fake living room ?. I'm really into these "take over the world" movies at the moment, "Strange Invaders" is another underated sci-fi gem.
