If you can wait Anchor Bay as annonced that they will release the movie sometime next year... I'm sure the transfer will be a lot better on the Anchor Bay Disc... I've heard that the other Meet The Feebles DVD have a shitty transfer...

It is a shitty transfer. I got it at www.deepdiscountdvd.com and for $7 shipped, it was a good buy, and will hold me over until the AB release. Worth having, if you don't have a copy and don't want to wait for the AB one.

I have both the Canadian Subtance and the cheap Spectrum discs and the transfers indeed suck. In addition, both dvds are bare bones. The $10 Spectrum disc doesn't even have chapters! :fuck: I hope the AB release is the last one I will have to purchase. It's due out next September. It's supposed to have some cool extras and I'm sure the transfer will bury all previous versions. :)

Why be jealous of Best Buy? Up until recently, a month or so ago, I've never been in a Best Buy in all my life (yet always wanted too). Now I realize how badly they suck, I'd rather spend my money online or elsewhere.

as long as AB doesn't drop the ball again like they did with Bad Taste.

Compared with the current version of Feebles out now, ANYTHING would be better.

well, true, I used to have the Canadian disc. I just don't want them saying they can get this and this for extras, then say they couldn't because Jackson is so busy, a la Bad Taste. It's gonna hurt when that newer Bad Taste disc comes out.

What newer Bad Taste disc? That's news to me.

Where did you read about this? And what about any different extras? This news kinda come from out of nowhere.

obviously one would think a new version will come out. remember the boys wanted to do a commentary but that didn't happen. i think tobs just stating what we all know, anchor bay.

AB could have had The Boys record a commentary without Peter Jackson if he was too busy. Now, with the success of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I don't think Jackson will be doing a commentary for Bad Taste or Meet the Feebles anytime soon. Also, if there were actual plans for a commentary or additional extras, I think AB would have released the Bad Taste bare bones dvd first and held off on any special features. Then, the LE or SE would come out later and include the documentary, commentary, and whatever else they could compile. I could be wrong, but I don't see Bad Taste being a "double-dipper". Just my $.02. :)

They wanted to make a huge Limited Edition with all kinds of extras, but then Mr. Jackson wasn't available to work on it because of LOTR, so they had to make the 2nd disc only the documentary instead of the plenthora of extras originally planned. That's word on the street anyway...
