Anyone know if we'll see any region 1 dvd releases of the new Godzilla films, or the 2 Gamera movies from the 90's not yet released here?

you can get an awesome bootleg of the Gamera box set release din japan with subs!!!
thebox set has about 20=30 hours of supplements!!!!!!!!!!!!!

plus all 3 movies in 5.1/anamorphic!

if intersted i will find the guy i got mine from on ebay.

Gamera 2 R1 is coming out next year by ADVision, which will probably be a non-anamorphic bare bones disk with no extras or chapter stops just like Destroy All Monsters was.

I'm really pissed off that Godzilla gets no love here in R1. I'd love to see ALL Godzilla films released here in 16X9, 5.1, uncut in their OAR. I hate having to watch burned-out VHS tapes or badly cut/dubbed discs. Someone needs to get on the ball with this one.
