I have recently purchased a dvd player and with it two classic films Frankenstein and Dracula. I have been looking on the net to see what other titles are available, in particular Frankenstein meets Wolfman and House of Frankenstein. I found them as US releases (version 1) but does anybody know if they will be available in the european (version 2) format??
What other classics are available in version 2? Is there a plan to release them all for us european classic universal horror fans???
If anybody out there could give me information it would be really appreciated.

The Classic Silent verision of Phantom of the Opera is available from a company called 'Eurika'.

I used www.play.com for mine, includes previously unseen 2-Tinted footage.

I use Play.com for 99% for all my DVD's needs, 80+ DVD's except 1 delivered. Fantastic.

For other Region 1, I use www.absound.ca

Don't forget that these are all OOP in R1. They can be hard to come by.

There's a few of the Universal Monsters series available on R2 DVD now. They can be bought from play.com for the nice price of 7.99 at the moment. :D
