This movie sucked more than Christina Aguilera at the YMCA.

I loved it. It's pure atmosphere. It's dark and creepy...no it doesn't make sense, but I found it cool. And the visuals are among the best of last year.:glasses:

feardotBOMB? Yea, I'm pretty sure that I, along with all other self-respecting horror fans, will pass on this mega release.

I'm going to pass on this one, I still feel swindled out of the cash I put up for a ticket a few months back.

I was planning to pick this up as a blind buy, but after reading all the negative reviews and complaints about it I'm not sure now.

I like director Malone's work so I'll probably rent it. I'm not expecting much, based on what I've read.

try to see it last night. Fell a sleep :sleepy: . My Eye lids were heavy. But movie was dark. Allot of dialog and not enough of suspense coming from my surround Sound to keep me awake. I will re-attempt to watch it tonight and see how it worked out for me.

I rented it today, it reminded me a bit of "The Cell" with those flashy and gory visuals (but not as good) The story takes a bit long to start too.
Certainly not the best but ain't the worst either.

I am a horror freak. The more bad reviews the more I have to buy it. Just remember The Burning got horrible reviews and everyone loves it.

I got me a copy of that thar movie!
I was certainly expecting a truely horrid film, considering all the negative reviews and comments about it... however, it redeemed itself with a spectacular ending.
Sure, some of the writting is pretty damn stupid (but then every movie has its share) and it borrows more then a little from The Ring (which in itself isn't that original) and the acting is 50/50 BUT the visuals were quite good and it had an imminate sense of true dread which I have not experienced since Se7en. So... its not a total waste. Sure, its no classic... but its a nice diversion.

Wow I dug this movie. Way more than I expected. Disturbing to me. As far a the movie seven I fell asleep watching it at the movie house.

I picked this one up over the weekend because it got some decent reviews, but I thought it sucked. The story makes no sense at all & it does not explain anything. I like lots of bad horror movies but this one is just nonsense.

The major studios no longer really allow for truly independent or B cinema. What would have normally have been a strait to video or small chain cinematic release has been repackaged and sold with a multimillion dollar budget and targeted at a new audience. I wouldn't say it was a bad thing except that it caters to the MPAA and by virtue is watered down by design.

I fell a sleep watching this movie on DvD (rental) Should I have stayed up to watch this one.... or did I do the right thing and that was to sleep right pass this flick?
I bought the dvd not knowing anything about it, only that it was in theaters in 2002, and I thought it was decent. True it wasn't great, but I can name a bunch of horror movies much worse.

Yep, nothing is worse than that Halloween movie.
I liked the movie pretty much. Not great but the actors were interesting enough. I just wish we knew a little bit more about the killer. That would have made the movie matter a little bit more.

It had good art direction, and some interesting visuals, but the movie in general sucked a fat dick, yo.
