View Full Version : Killer Tongue dvd - was it ever released?

Some time ago Image was supposed to release the movie "Killer Tongue" on dvd.

It had a release date set, but I never heard anything more about it.

I made a search in some stores and I had several results: one claimed the dvd was canceled, some (like Amazon) claimed it was out-of-print (one of the reviewers of the vhs edition mentions he almost got the dvd, which makes me think it was released...), and I found a Canadian store in which it's possible to order the dvd, and it has an image of the cover (maybe a mistake?).

So my question is: was the dvd ever released?
If it was released, what happened?
Why did it go out of print so quickly?
How's the dvd (if it was in fact released)?

No, it was never released.

Had it on pre-order and it was cancelled.

I pre-ordered it form reel.com, they cancelled it, so I ordered it form bigstar, then they cancelled it as well. So I went and bought a used VHS. the film is really way too over the top, noisy, almost unwatchable, and this is coming from a major Melinda Clarke fan! It also was shot wide, so had a bad pan and scan thing.
