View Full Version : Birthdays!
Hey everyone! Today is the birthday of both John Carpenter AND Caroline Munro (and I don't mean John the HorrorDVDs.com reviewer).
Watch a Carpenter movie or two tonight. Follow it with Maniac or something. Ah, too bad Captain Kronos is not out on DVD though...

Tomorrow is Carpenter's B-Day?!?
Fuckin' A, that's my birthday!
I never heard his was the same as mine, I knew Muhamed Ali and Kid Rock were the same, but not JC.
I'll have to pop in The Thing or Mouth O Madness at midnight to celebrate.
Happy Birthday to me, and my cracker JC
Muhamed Ali, and bitch pass me the weed!:D

Come on Thrash, where are those extra risque photos of John Carpenter everyone has been dying to see? :D
I am going to revist THE FOG again to respect JC. Looking at those hot pics of Caroline are good enough for me though.

Well, not like I ever need a reason to watch a Carpenter flick, but thats for the heads up. I think first on my list will have to be They Live. Nothing beats the fight between Piper and Keith.

Oh Caroline! Looks like I'm a few hours late, but happy birthday just the same! I'll have to throw in At the Earth's Core to celebrate, wish I had Golden Voyage of Sinbad though.

Well, if ya have a region free DVD player (like myself) you might wanna track down this 80's Video (reg 2) compilation mut:
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B00007BKJH.03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
You'll get the Adam Ant/Caroline Munro Goody Two Shoes video and lots of other cool (and a few stinkers though: Wham! http://zoneofplenty.homestead.com/files/yuck.gif ) 80's clips (Prefab Sprout/The King Of Rock N Roll, Sigue Sigue Sputnik/Love Missle F1-11, The Psychedelic Furs/Heaven, Kim Wilde/Chequered Love....) . All videos have 5.1 DD and 5.1 DTS sound!
Sorry for going slightly off topic :)

Hyde << R1 lackey. :(
But thanks for the tip Billy. All region would be a good way around the stranglehold American music rights have on this stuff. It boggles my mind we don't have more solid video collections on dvd here, let alove live performances, single artist video collections, and God forbid, Mary Tyler Moore singing White Christmas, or the originally broadcast song selections for WKRP. Litigation run rampant blows chunks.
