Anybody know who has the DVD rights to this slasher flick? I hope someone releases it soon, as I've always wanted to see this one.

Anybody seen it? How is it? Would it be worth tracking down on ebay?

Girls Nite Out was ok. Not the best and not the worst either.
A few neat throat slashings (the killer had cool blade/claws as I recall) but not very bloody.
I dunno about the DVD rights though.

Always wanted to see this too. The bear-suit-clad killer seems cool.

Oh, people, if you only knew!!!!!!

This is the second-worst slasher pic I've ever seen! (The Dorm That Dripped Blood takes top honor.) Trust me, the bear uniform is not cannily used, the scares non-existent, and you'll be begging for Steel Magnolias to come on to put you out of your collective misery!

I totally love that slasher. I'd buy the dvd in a second.

Watched this one late one night and woke up during a murder where the killer is bloodily slashing a woman's throat with his claws. The bear costume is only put on half way through the film, unfortunately. The scenes where the killer hisses, "Bitch," "Whore" and "Slut" was perverse and creepy.

I'd love to know when this film was actually made, the IMDB says 1984 but there's no way this was made then. I'd hazard a guess at 1980, judging by those satin threads!

Everywhere I've read says it was made in 1982 but even that may be pushing it. I remember seeint this a little kid and cracking up and rolling on the floor whenever the killer dressed in the bear costume showed up. It was a hoot when they find out who the killer is. I really want to see this movie again but any slasher films that has a killer in bear suit stalking girls on a scavenger hunt is all right with me.

I saw a used VHS copy of this go for $45 bucks on ebay a couple of months ago. Either this is really worth tracking down, or it's extremely rare.

But I didn't think it was THAT rare.

This does need to be on DVD but I say that about all 80s slasher films so don't mind me. I did like this movie as a kid though.

Anybody know who owns the rights to this movie?
