this is from the firelightshocks news letter i get.

www.firelightshocks.com great place, and the guy who runs it is a really good guy. anyways

"Oh yeah, and before I go. There has been much talk about the UK DVD of
Romano Scavolini's Nightmares in a Damaged Brain. Well, Romano has been
in touch with me to rant about the UK release. If you clear this up on
any message boards please credit Firelight Shocks:

"SOMETHING VERY DISTURBING: THE BRITISH DISTRIBUTOR OF NIGHTMARE CUT
OFF THE MOST VALUABLE SCENE OF MY FILM - THE
CHOPPING OF THE FATHER'S HEAD" FROM THE FINALE OF TATUM'S MASSACRE.
THIS IS REALLY SOMETHING THEY SHOULDN'T DO!. THEY ADDED SCENES OF NO
VALUE AT ALL TO THE FILM AND I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY THEY DID IT."

Well, the answer is obviously for reasons of getting an 18 certificate.
But it's quite clear what Romano thinks of Screen Entertainment!"

not that i would pick up the UK one anyways, but i know we have quite a few UK people on here, so i thought i would share.

i wonder what is up with Program Powers region 1 release?

Screen Ent. are having a tough time at the hands of the BBFC at the moment over some of their planned releases, im glad they are trying to push the boundaries but i can see alot of the forthcoming movies suffering horrendous cuts
Planned releases include :

Nightmare Concert
Nutbag
House by the Lake
I Spit On Your Grave (again) ..... Apparantly `Nutbag` has been slaughtered by the hacking censors already   :fire:

back awhile ago if you contacted program power they were delighted to tell you all the info they had including what extras there would be. But in the last while if you email them they send you a message stating that your enquiry will be dealt with shortly and you dont hear from them again
