Contraband, worth buying?

Hey guys,
I was thinking about ordering the new Contraband DVD, but I was wondering if the movie is anygood? I also was wondering how are the action scenes and is there plenty of blood preasent during the film?

Silly question, of course it's worth buying. And fear not, the blood be present.

Yeah it's quite good. I did a little review of it here: http://www.geocities.com/eurocultdiscs/fulci.html . Just scroll down.

Did you mean Contamination, or am I just missing it?

Andrew 05-05-2003 03:28 AM

My bad, I was thinking CONTAMINATION. Same statements apply though, and I fixed the link.

Thanks for the review Andrew, I'm going to check out the film.

I was disappointed by this Fulci flop, no wonder he never made another gangster flick. Fulci films were rarely boring in those days, but he was here and what that Testi fella was doing certainly can't be labeled as acting. A MacColl, Farmer or Monreale might've lightened up the dull goings-on. Trust me, "The Black Cat" is a masterpiece compared, I also expected way more gore than what I got. Could - and should - have been way, way better considering it's an Italian film about the Mafia. The terrible disco music score didn't help matters either. :sleepy:
