i don't want this to turn into a freaks & geeks topic, but i just made a mess on my keyboard. Terror Train can take perminant residence in slot number 4 on my 5-disc dvd player.

One of the few slashers I actually like, can't wait.

Cujo108 06-28-2004 02:19 AM

Its about damn time! I'm all over this disc, as Terror Train is definitely one of my favorite slashers, and I've been dying to own it for a while. I'd love features, but expected none seeing how its Fox. This year keeps getting better and better for great slashers on DVD!

I'm very excited about Terror Train, no interest whatsoever in the others. Now we just have to hear some news about The Burning and I'll be fucking happy as hell. :D

This is very cool news !!! Specially 'cuz the Terror Train R2 from Anchor Bay UK totally sucks not only in the video department but in the audio too.

For one thing, its pan and scan. I'm sure you'd buy it anyway though, so what's it matter?

It's about time! Haven't seen Terror Train in years. The rest is disappointing. I would rather have Bad Dreams and After Midnight on DVD. I guess there's always next year...

Haha... That's cool! Bad Dreams doesn't get much mention on the boards. I don't think it's a very popular movie with horror fans. Could it be the ending? ;) I remember it being advertised as another Elm Street ripoff and it's far from it. After Midnight is a decent horror anthology. One segment has these teens being hunted down by a pack of dogs.

Bad Dreams sounds interesting... I've seen it for rent at a couple video stores so I may have to check it out next time I go down there.

You'll be waiting a long time if you are waiting for an Anchor Bay release. I think the fact that Fox is releasing this should be some indication that they aren't about to let AB have the rights to it.

Forgot to add, I love Bad Dreams...was hoping they would release it the same time they did Terror Train but there's always next year.
