Savage Streets

Not really a horror film, but it is bordering on slasher cinema...in a kind of I Spit on Your Grave way...and the cast and crew make it worth mentioning. Anyone ever see this? It has Linda Blair and Linnea Quigley playing sisters...it is directed by the guy who did Friday the 13th Part 5...and features Linda in a skin tight jump suit wielding a cross-bow on a mission of vengeance and features the classic line:
"Too bad your not double jointed...then you could bend over and kiss your ass goodbye!"
I was just making myself a DVD-R of it...and I forgot how trashy and fun this movie is!

SAVAGE STREETS is a Sleazy 80's Revenge classic!! It's Great fun, with a Great cast, Linda Blair, Linnea Quigley, and John Vernon! Needless to say, I love it!! I picked up the Rare Vestron VHS of this film at a used Video Shop not too long ago, it's a Great find if you can get ahold of it! A Favorite of mine!

I saw this film at the drive-in years ago. I don't remember too many details about the film, but I do recall enjoying it.

How's the transfer look on that DVD? I've been debating whether to order it or not since it still seems a bit overpriced.

a local store has this on VHS,i`ll think i`ll rent before buying the dvd

The transfer is like VHS quality basically. This needs an Anchor Bay re-release badly.

Damn, I figured as much. If the price were cheaper I'd probably still buy it though.

save your money, the SAVAGE STREET DVD is taken from a worn out ex-rental, it is a brentwood DVD like quality, probably a bootleg.

I remember enjoying this one,bad girls & crossbows, whats not to like ? Didn't Blair do another film around this time where she tried to save a kidnapped girl,I remember a chase with dune buggies and rocket launchers ? Does this ring a bell with anyone ?
