Popcorn re-release **Updated with more info
 

so, I was browsing FB the other day (i know, i know) and one of the girls who works for Fright-rags (awesome t-shirt company located about 5mins from my house) had a flyer put together for a new Popcorn release "Fan Edition" along with a documentary that she will be doing. The flyer is showing a release date of March 23rd 2012 but that might just be a filler date she says she would like to have it out before then and it will be release by "Bells On Productions". Currently they are raising money to get the documentary going check it out! (also sorry if this is a repost)

Wow, that's awesome. :) I've always loved the film...and even caught it in the theater on its initial release.

The old Elite DVD could definitely be improved upon, so this sounds very promising. I'm kind of amazed that the film is getting all the love though.

I have been a fan of this movie for a long time I am definitely looking forward to this release

This would be great if this happens. I do own it on DVD, and I would buy it next year if this in fact does come out.

Keep us posted as this gets going and nears the "hopeful" date. I'd upgrade in a minute. To think how happy I was to finally get this a few months ago when Hollywood was closing. Didn't really expect to ever see a re-release or SE but would be happy to.
