Now I know why the Koch DVD is OOP. There's a new release on the horizon and this is it:

I'm not entirely sure what's on all the discs but it seems like a great package.

I ordered it the other day from Amazon DE. No telling when a decent uncut US release will appear after all this time.

This has always been one of my favourite Spag Westerns. I have the Franco Cleef DVD. There is a review for this Blu ray on High-def digest.

The main difference between this one and the KOCH DVD is that it's completely uncut.

Thanks to this thread I ordered one as well. I have the old Japanese DVD from eons ago, which I think is somewhat cut. I'm not sure. This should be a nice upgrade.

I bought a copy last night from DiabolikDVD, along with the French Artus Films disc of Renato Polselli's VAMPIRE OF THE OPERA. I'll post my thoughts once it arrives! (Well, once it arrives and I actually have time to watch it...)

:evil: You'll probably get yours before I will then! My Amazon DE order isn't scheduled to arrive until around February 4th. But at least now their USA shipping prices are dirtcheap...it used to be uber $$$.

I received mine yesterday. The Blu-ray looks extremely nice...even better than the static screenshots posted online. I popped in the included DVD just to see, and the difference in resolution is very noticable. And although not lossless, the Blu-ray audio is very clear.

The documentary (on the 3rd disc) surprisingly has optional English subtitles, which is a nice plus.

The "Digibook" packaging is also superb looking. All in all a very nice release indeed!

I agree. I just wish I could read German.

Diabolik has it in stock now for anybody interested. Pricey though, I only paid about $17 at Amazon DE.
