Best Nazi Zombie Movie
Probably one of the most curious sub-genres to rise from the depths of horror is that of the Nazi Zombies. As ludicrous as it sounds, I can't deny that it's been the subject to some pretty fun flicks. Some...not so fun. In honor of MorallySound's slog through the trenches of Oasis of the Zombies and Zombie Lake...what's your favorite Nazi Zombie movie?

Shock Waves easily.

Shock Waves.

I'm gonna go with Dead Snow. But it sounds like I need to see Shock Waves.

Dang. It's a subgenre I need to hit more, apparently, as I've only seen Shock Waves and Dead Snow. Enjoyed both. Was going to selecy Shock Waves, if only for the Peter Cushing factor. But Dead Snow wins for two reasons: In the Hall of the Mountain King, also I saw it theatrically with a co-worker and one of the characters actually slagged our company on-screen, leading to uproarious (sp?) laughter from the two of us. Winner.

Totally Shock Waves (even though technically they're not really zombies but old dudes who can breathe underwater).

Shock Waves end of story. Wonderful movie and extremely atmospheric. Thinking about it is making me want to watch it now!!!

i've only seen Shock Waves and Puppet Master III. i can't vote yet, not with so many unseen titles up there. i need to check out zombie lake, and dead snow, two that have been on my list for a few years. and i need to watch shock waves again. i've only seen it once, and my memories of it are rather foggy.

Going to have to go with Shock Waves, with Dead Snow a close second.
I'm still holding out for this :D http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8s...s#.USPQJKXbN8E |
Haven't seen enough films on the list to state with certainty which I consider the best. Definitely saw Shock Waves, Outpost, and Dead Snow. Night of the Zombies and Zombie Lake ring a few bells, but I can't say for certain I've seen them.
Of that small list, Shock Waves hands down takes it. Not that the movie is all that great, but it has a solidly creepy atmosphere, an oddball premise, and Peter Cushing. With that last item being enough to get me to watch just about anything. |
Shock Waves, no doubt.

Shock Waves by a few miles. They played it at the New Bev here in LA, packed house. Still totally works. LOVE LOVE LOVE this flick.
|
Shock Waves is my favorite. Much more deserving of a Blu-ray release than Oasis of the Zombies and Zombie Lake.
