Warlock SOV films
I have only heard of a handful of these, I posted a link to the page that shows the vhs box covers, these films looks cheaper than the old Donna Michelle Production ones that were SOV gems.

I think this company may be owned now by the kid who did the Mulva Zombie Ass Kicker movie long ago.

I've been tempted to check these out myself. I did some reading up on them a while back.
Apparently, they aren't full length films. They're about 30 - 45 minutes each. And the DVDs are literally just a burnt DVD-R with the name written in marker on the top. It does come with a case and artwork though. I was tempted to blind-buy Happy Helladays and Death O Lantern, but can't seem to pull the trigger. They used to have VHS versions for sale, and if they were still available, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. |
Warlock is Chris Seaver's new company.
These look cool but $13 for a 40 minute movie? No thanks. |
Yes, the price for the number of minutes is pretty bad, I almost bought all of these back in November and never paid attention to the running times.
Instead I found out that Alternative Cinema now has the rights to distribute Andrew Stevens movies, including the Shannon Tweed and Shannon Whirry ones like Night Eyes 1-4, Body Chemistry 1-4 etc, so the money was put to better use. |
I received Death O’ Lantern and Die-B-Que in a trade…haven’t watched them yet, but the tapes look cool.
