Body Double (1984) - August 13th from Twilight Time

Body Double is getting the expensive limited edition treatment from Twilight Time. August 13th, 2013.

Limited to 3,000 copies. You know the drill.

Hate having to pay $35 for it, but I must have this. At least Twilight Time has started to port over the bonus features lately.

Yeah pretty much a must have.

I'm really interested to see how this one ends up selling. If it sells out in less time than Christine, I'd assume it'd be mostly scalpers who would have a difficult time selling their copies on the secondary market. Interesting title.

I've seen Body Double about four separate times over the course of my life and I can never recall what the heck it's about. Definitely not a must buy for me.

My favourite DePalma. Count me in for a purchase!

Omg yes. Not my fav De Palma film, but it's up there. Can't wait.

crap
oh well hope I get it this time, hate sittting by the pc waiting for the second it starts

I don't really see this one selling out all that quickly, to be honest. DePalma's The Fury is still readily available. I think this will sell more briskly than that, but I don't anticipate a quick sellout ala Christine, NOTLD90 or even Fright Night.

Agreed. It's like watching Lost Highway or something. All I can ever recall is De Palma chasing the killer/purse snatcher dood and then having an anxiety episode in that outdoor hotel hallway. And of course the Relax part.

I agree it won't move as quick as the others, but wouldn't be surprised if did sell out in pre-order, just weeks instead of hours this time. It being way more known than Fury makes me think this. I'm torn, I got the dvd for cheap not long ago and liked it so much more than I remembered, but not sure if it's worth the high upgrade price tag when the dvd didn't look bad at all. I'll probably feel I have to have it when pre-orders go up though.:nervous:

It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine...

No, not another blu-ray that only plays on those $600 machines. :(

The only title that Twilight Time has released so far that I have been interested to own on Blu-Ray was the original Fright Night, which I did pre-order before it sold out. Otherwise, the other movies, they are just too pricey for my taste, and Fright Night I'm a huge fan of the movie, and was more than willing to pay $35.00 for it on Blu-Ray when on eBay several years ago I paid about $110.00 for the complete soundtrack on CD. Now, I don't think the CD goes for that much now.
