Rooms For Tourists and Dead In 3 Days.

Isn't StageFright in Italian? The DVD was English, but it could have been dubbed. I can't remember.

horrorscreamer 06-24-2013 04:11 PM

Dead In 3 Days is listed as In 3 Tagen Bist Du Tot, Rooms For Tourists... I don't recall that being a slasher? Are you certain? StageFright is a question mark for me, it says English/Italian on IMDB so I'm not sure if it was shot in both languages as some movies are.

Ils/Them (France) Not sure about it being a slasher, but it might be something to include in your list.

There must be a whole bunch of Italian giallos that you could add to the list. Loads of obscure titles im sure.

Masked killer stalking five girls in a big old house. I'd say it fits the bill.

There you have it, sorry :)

Ils is a home invasion thriller, not a slasher, thanks though =) Adding Room for Tourists to the list, thank u =)

Ogroff, the Mad Mutilator (France)
Devil Story (France)

Neither are straight-forward slashers, but should qualify.

Cooperkill 06-24-2013 08:07 PM

Inside is French.

In all seriousness, what's the goal here? I don't mean that to sound as snarky as it does, I'm truly curious as to why the OP is creating this list.

Reason being, is there's a lot of "grey area" when it comes to Italian slasher films as "non-English language". Many were filmed in multiple languages, as they had an international cast, so there's no real "official" language of the film (unlike say, a film made in Japan with an all Japanese cast would almost certainly be filmed in Japanese).

And if you count the Giallo genre as a non-English language slasher, your list increases by several hundred films.

Well I'm a big slasher movie collector and I want to know if there's anything out there that I've missed. Many times in international markets slasher movies are released as thrillers - or even dramas - so it can be difficult to find out about them.

There is indeed a big grey area with giallos and I don't wish to include giallos in the list - however, there are some giallos (that are in the list) that are closer to being a slasher than others.
