i always thought the s-mart ending was an ending they made only after they decided there wasn't going to be another ED movie... so if theyre making a 4th i'd have assumed they'd use the future one..
as for thrashard's comments about the remake.. I dont think anything is certain about the remake.. i think theyre trying to get a new perspective on the franchise so i don't think they'll follow part 1 and 2 that closely..
