I like that 6 and 7 seem to be the split between fans of the series these days. It seems like there's pretty much consensus on the rest of the films but you've got a well defined divide between Jason Lives fans and New Blood fans. It makes sense, both films are VERY different in a lot of ways but I've found myself entangled in this debate a dozen or so times with people at my work.
(I used to love 6 and hate 7 back when it first came out. These days I think I actually like 7 a lot more. Difference: I used to be a goofy teenager, now I like interesting stories
