Um, this certainly throws a wrench into everything. I'm withdrawing my Second Sight preorder for the trilogy (I thought all their stuff was region-free??) until I know for sure that Criterion is actually releasing the original. Then when Shout confirms the specs for their release(s) I'll decide how to proceed but all of this back-and-forth is baffling to me.
