There are a few on this list that I haven't seen yet. But, I doubt any of them will surpass "God Told Me To"
But, the "It's Alive" trilogy is probably a great example of how to make sequels that really expand upon the themes and world of the original. If taken as a whole, I think that's probably the best thing he's directed.
But, I will also add that I think his best work overall is the script for "Phone Booth" It's a masterpiece of high-concept gimmick.
He's truly one of the most imaginative writers out there.
