I'm not asserting anything other than enter the possibility that perception doesn't necessarily
equal reality. I'm not trying to trash this movie (in fact I'm not even talking about the Evil Dead specifically, but the movie going experience in general), I'm simply stating the truth: Just because you have some people vocal enough to voice their love of the film does not in any way mean that it was universally loved in the theater you were in. All it means is that those people are drowning out the other people who are willing to suffer through the movie in silence.
