If by "real" you mean legit, well, sorry to disappoint you but it isn't. The english subbed DVDs are all boots.

I just saw that this comes out in the U.K. in two weeks. Check out amazon.co.uk under releases for the 24th.

I know I'll be picking that one up...as soon as I read a couple of positive reviews of the DVD quality. Anyone else notice that the U.K. seems to put out a lot of 4:3 DVDs?

Oops! Just realized that you guys are talking about the remake. Me, I want the original, which is what is coming in the U.K. later this month.

Now, where is Battles without Honor or Humanity?

Yea I got mine. I thought it was fucking bad ass!!!!! Takashi Miike's finer films IMO. Everyone must see this flick!!!!
