Ginger Snaps in Widescreen

Does anyone know if there is a widescreen (Region 1) version of Ginger Snaps?

The excellent Candian DVD is widescreen and is loaded with extras. I own it and treasure my copy.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention you can get it at most any online Canadian retailers. I got my copy at DVDBoxoffice.com about a year and a half ago.

i think there was a thread about this dvd on this forum not too long ago, about one particular site having it for sale around $10.

i got mine a year or so ago, for about $30, but it is so worth the money!!

I still need to pick this up, as well as the Canadian version of Brotherhood of the Wolf.

I just ordered the Canadian DVD. Too bad I had already bought the US (fullscreen) version.

Do not feel too bad.

I have multiple versions of many movies.

The nice thing is that you can always sell it and pick up a few bucks. Making your Great New Canadian version even cheaper!

Cujo, is there any added costs for ordering across-the border (Canada) purchasing over the net? I'd definitely be interested in obtaining a copy somewhere online.

Thrash, I've ordered several Canadian discs (eXistenZ, THE HOLE, GS, etc.) in the past and it has never cost me extra. Shipping charges are pretty much the same.

I paid a bit more for shipping from Amazon.ca than I do from Amazon.com.

Yeah, but I don't use Amazon.ca, so I haven't had to pay more. As a matter of fact, DVDBoxOffice.com, which is the place I use most often, has free shipping, and that is why they are my favorite Canadian retailer.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll be ordering Brotherhood Of The Wolf and Ginger Snaps soon from somewhere out in net land.

I dont know why a studio like Artisan would only release a full frame edition here in the US. Dont they know by now that no one wants to see a film on DVD unless its in the OAR? Thankfully the Canadians did something right for a change and put out a great SE "up there".
