Rate/Comment on Suspiria (1977)
Ok Since the first poll is going pretty well, the next film on the agenda is one of the most critically acclaimed Italian Horror films ever Dario Argento’s Suspira

Probably a great film, I was just never able to get into it for some reason. Maybe I will try and watch it again sometime.

For me Suspiria is the closest anyone has come to creating and replicating the feeling and emotions you would actually have during a Nightmare but on the Screen. A brilliant film, that needs to be seen a few times before fully appreciated. My vote would be 8.5.

I'm going to have to try & watch it again this long weekend too. I haven't gotten into it as much as alot of people have either.

You know, I've watched the first 40 minutes or so on 2 separate occasions, and I had to turn it off both times because of other things I had to do unexpectedly.
I was not "grabbed" by this film either of those times in the 40 minutes or so that I have seen. Does it get exceptionally better? I've owned it for a year or so and have never bothered to throw it back in. |

Dammit... another masterpiece. Argento is one of my favorite directors, and this is one of his best films. It gets a solid 10 from me.

A fantastic film, I give it a 10. Not my first or second favorite Argento, but it is still a masterpiece.

I gave this one an 8.5. The plot kind of sucks actually, but in this case the music and visuals more than make up for it.
