Reincarnation of Peter Proud Remake

I remember hearing a while ago that a remake was in the works. Does anyone have any further info on this?? I've been wanting the original on dvd for a long time and I'd assume that once the remake is done and out on dvd, they'd release the original at the same time.

Sounds like a great one, wish the DVD the posters talked about on IMDB was out already!!! J Lee Thompson is always a good time.

Remake? Does that mean that Michael Sarazzin will be 'born again'?

Thanks Babe,

Technically Sarazzin was born again in a TV remake of "Frankenstein".
He hasn't aged too well though although he was a popular mild mannered
leading man in the late sixites and early seventies.

IMO...although I'm very anxious to see how they'd approach a remake, I'm pessimistic about it on the other hand...

a great portion of what I love about the original is the added eerieness brought about by the 70s look and feel of film....a polished clean crisp remake will fail miserably by this standard
