I love it. The mystery is no challenge, but the death scenes are very well done. Also the acting is pretty decent and it makes good use of it's Boston locations (especially the aquarium!)

I enjoy it, though its tone feels more like a giallo to me than a straight slasher, due to the emphasis on investigation.

I like it, but haven't seen it in a few years. It does really remind me of a Giallo as others have stated. I have the old VHS around here somewhere, but would love to see it hit DVD sometime this century!

Not bad compared to todays' dreck. Back then it was just another slasher film but today it is an unappreciated diamond.

I hadn't watched this in ages, and I enjoyed it much more than i expected too. I loved it. Somehow, I forgot how gloriously whacked out the killer was. I was continuously amazed and impressed by them. They are my hero, everything that I want to be should I go slasher killer one day. I am now just sad I waited so long to revisit this movie.

I always liked it. Funny thing about seeing this for the first time on cable in the early '80's: I fell asleep soon after the opening sequence (the movie was on around 11:00) but I woke during the "shower" sequence. Now, that was a WTF moment...what is with all that red stuff?????

It's definitely not unwatchable. There are some decent kill scenes (the locker room scene comes to mind). The acting is not the worst I've ever seen either, however the 'comedy' between the two investigators does NOT work in the film's favor.
Still, this one is screaming for a DVD release. |
