You're a lifesaver! Or at least a disc-saver!
Thanks. Guess we can all stop ranting (myself included) about having to return our discs. |

I got this reply today (October 20th) from Anchor Bay:
Disregard any email you may have been sent regarding the OPERA DVD. If you filled out the form on the website, you will NOT have to send in your disc. We expect replacements to start mailing in 7 to 10 days. Sorry for any confusion. - Michael Felsher Webmaster Anchor Bay Entertainment (248) 816-0909 Ext. 4630 (248) 816-3335 Fax |

I mailed my disc immediately, though I felt it was shitty having to pay for returning AB's defective product (AB made us pay for return shipping with the Black Hole DVD fiasco, too, for those of us who bought early pressings of that disc). Now I feel rather pissed off. I would have just as soon kept the defective disc as a relic of sorts. O-freakin'-well I guess.

I bought my Opera today because I figured I could just pick it up and fill out the form and get my good copy of it int a week. So I went to the site to fill out the form, but they took that down and put up this form you have to fill out and print after sending in your disk. I wish they would make up their minds. Screw them. I mean they put out some good stuff, but I'm not gonna pay more money to send a shitty disc back. I realize it wont cost a lot to send it back, but I don't wanna bother with it. I'd rather get my money back and buy something to watch now. Looks like I'm gonna have to take mine back to the store and just wait for the none suck ones to come out. Unless the store wont let me return it, I hope they let me return it. Does anyone know if they'll let me return it to Best Buy?

there should be no problem as long as you tell them that all the disks are defective. I returned mine OK and picked up Maniac.

Does it actually say "version 2.0" on it, or some sort of label to let you know it's a new pressing?
