Rob Zombie's next flick, "Tyrannosaurus Rex".
Found this over on aintitcool, and according to the article it was released through Zombie's myspace. If this is legit, SIGN ME UP! "51% motherfucker. 49% son of a bitch."

So does this mean Rob has already cast Samuel L. Jackson along with his wife and Danny Trejo or just wishful thinking?

I think that's Diamond Dallas Page, not Trejo, and I don't think the other guy is Jackson (could be, but doesn't look too much like him). I'm sure the blonde will be his wife, he can't make a movie without her (I wish he would, just one time). ![]() I've enjoyed his films despite his wife so this looks interesting, and that poster is badass! |

Much as I continue to profess my hatred for Zombie's Halloween, I do love his first two movies. Might be too early to tell based on teaser art, but this looks more like a film I would enjoy. Rob said in interviews during the shooting wrap of The Devil's Rejects how much he would love to do other genres outside of horror. I'm all for it and look forward to more details on this film. |

The Zombie hate is kinda surprising, wasn't Devil's Rejects recently voted as one of the best/essential horror films in a recent thread? Halloween wasn't that bad! Last edited by bigdaddyhorse; 06-26-2008 at 09:11 PM. |

Oh, gee. Can't wait.
![]() Zombie is a waste of money. I look forward to his eventual DTV career.

Yet another round of a bunch of awful characters calling each other "bitch" while some cliche, overused 70s music plays. And then show some Super 8 footage of the characters hanging out, even if it makes no goddamn sense in the context of the scene. I apoligize for sounding like a whiny bitch (there's that word again) to people who enjoy his films, but The Devil's Rejects was one of maybe three movies I wanted to walk out of. It's also one of the few movies I just can't see the appeal of. I get crappy chick flicks, I get Joe D'Amato movies, I figure I'm open-minded as hell most of the time, but Devil's Rejects? Just don't get it. |

Yeah! The announcement of his next project took way too long, but I am excited for this one. Where do I buy tickets and pre-order the DVD?

This was announced quite awhile ago. The only thing new is the artwork.

I know he has his critics on here but I dont mind his stuff so far- not great but I dont feel bad either- heck I even enjoyed the second half of Halloween. This new one looks very interesting and who knows? maybe the first one of his films to make me think that was "really cool" instead of just "it was pretty good or okay".

Since Rob Zombie's current kick is to retread movies from the 70's, shouldn't this one be titled 'The Last Dinosaur'?

Ironic because "The Last Dinosaur" kicks the crap out of Zombie's own movies.

Now this is a guy whose films I actually enjoy. Halloween remake was terrible. But I enjoyed House and Devil's. TRex looks awesome. I'll choose homages to remakes any day of the week. He seems to be a fan who enjoys making films similar to his tastes. I can respect that considering he does a good enough job. Unfortunately, he still is no contender to what is coming out of France. We really a second coming from this part of the world.
