Arrow has annouced their spring releases

Foxy Brown (Available as steelbook)
Blow out (Available as steelbook)
Spider baby
Knightriders
Baron blood
Black sabbath
Motel Hell
The key
All ladies do it

Great lineup
Getting all except blow out which i own from criterion.
and The key and All ladies do it which dont interrest me.

I love that version, and it´s the one that was released on VHS (in the early 80:s) over here in Sweden, which I used to watch about a billion times as a kid.

I was VERY disappointed when that awesome AIP soundtrack was not avalible on the DVD´s.

i've never heard it, but as a Karloff fan, i've been wanting to ever since i bought the AB Bava boxes.

which is the Bava film where Christopher Lee is dubbed by a different actor? Whip and the Body, or Hercules in the Haunted World? its been so long since i've watched them, i can't remember. although i remember it being really offputting.

Agreed! I really dislike the Italian version of the film to be honest. Not only does Karloff sound weird being dubbed in Italian, but the stories are also rearranged...and the film just doesn't work nearly as well, IMO.

I also enjoy Les Baxter's English music score much more. I recently bought the Intrada CD of that...

Motel Hell & Foxy Brown are all I'll get from that list. I'll get the Criterion release of Blow Out if I decide I want that on blu.

Very excited for deluxe editions of Motel Hell and Knightriders. Will pick those up soon after release. One day I'll grab Black Sabbath and Foxy Brown as well.

I usually wait for reviews on Arrow product before committing, but so far I'm most excited about KNIGHTRIDERS in hi-def, with a proper FOXY BROWN special edition coming in second. I may pull the trigger on MOTEL HELL (unless Shout makes an announcement -- not sure if they grabbed it from MGM or not, but it would seem a good candidate).

I'll definitely hold out for comparison reviews before deciding on the Bavas and SPIDER BABY.

I see that Arrow Video's Blu-rays all state they are Region B. Has anyone ever tested to see if they are really Region free? I'd love to get THE KEY and ALL LADIES DO IT.

They are sometimes Region B locked. Demons & Demons 2 were locked for instance.

as were zombie and the repressing of funhouse. it seems like more and more of their releases are heading in that direction...
