Beyond the Howling: new book covering the series

http://www.beyondthehowling.com/

I came across the above link on The Howling's IMDB message boards. Sometime in the future, the book Beyond the Howling will come out and feature interviews with cast/crew from each of the 8 films. Gary Brandner's 3 novels will also be covered. I'm about to dive into the sequels for the first time, so I'm very excited to read about the making of these apparently terrible films.

I will definitely have to get this. I enjoy all of the sequels with the exception of III, and most of them are nowhere near as bad as they're made out to be. At this point, I'm more interested in anything covering them than I am the original.

The Howling sequel's aren't up to the same quality as the Children of the Corn sequel's which I like alot of.
The Howling is great.
Howling II Haven't seen
Howling III Horrible
Howling 4 Horrible
Howling 5 Better but still Horrible
Howling 6 Worse than Horrible
Howling 7 Haven't Seen
Howling 8 Haven't Seen

I hope high hope's for Howling 9

The Howling sequels are the only films in the long-running series where ALL of the films (except the original, of course) are terrible, lol. I find some enjoyment in even some of the worst Children of the Corn, Hellraiser or Halloween films but I could never finish watching any of the Howling films. OTOH, a book on the series somehow sounds fascinating. Don't know why.
