I didn't care for this film, after I'd seen it for the first time -- as much as I do now. It took about three or four days for it to sink in. It was then that I realized that I did indeed like this film, quite a bit infact. You know how some movies can do that? Kind of sneak up on you when you're not looking? This was definately one of those movies. Same thing with the music, didn't think I cared for it upon first listen. Realized later that I was wrong. Love it! Gave it an 8.

It was cool hearing that familiar music in Cabin Fever!

Without question one of my least favorite films ever. I will never understand why this is so acclaimed.

This movie was a big deal when it was released in 1970.It had some very disturbing scenes for it's time.Of course many would still find it offensive. An evil David Hess can make any film great.

I guess I was alone in giving it a ten and considering it absolutely brilliant

I gave it a 4. I don't really like it that much. I used to be quite fond of it years ago. Now I think its silly for the most part. The goofy cops throw off the tone big time. The editing is bad. The music is above average.

8.5 for me. I had to warm up to it a little. Not like ISPOYG. I loved that the first time I saw it. Definitley a good movie though.

Eh. That pretty much sums it up for me. I don't feel strongly about this movie either way. It wasn't the worst I've seen, but I really don't know how rewatchable it'll be for me either.

I never saw this movie until recently and I gotta say, after the first viewing I didn't really care for it too much. It wasn't until after I watched the extras on the DVD that I appreciated it more. Usually the extras don't have that much of an effact on me but what can I say. I gave it an 8. Before watching the extras I might have given it a 5.

I'll give it a 6--it's more important for its place in history than because it's a great movie. I bought the ultra-cheap disc that came out a while back and had a blast with it, but I don't know if I would have wanted to spend $15-20 on it.
It's one that I don't revisit that often--usually when I'm in a the mood for a Hess-fest I go for HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK instead. |

I love this film and think it's one of Wes Craven's best, right beside The Hills Have Eyes. The stupid comedy used to bother me when I was younger, but now I've learned to accept it and it isn't as annoying as it once was.
