Evil Laugh DVD
So I finally got this elusive dvd (for me at least);
While I remember this being an awesome movie from when I watched it growing up, I was pretty disappointed in it seeing it again. I'm not really a fan of slashers at all, so dont let that discourage you from picking it up, because Slasher fans should enjoy it. The DVD is pretty nice, the picture looks ok and the audio is fine. The extras are bare, but it has a full running commentary, photos, DVD Rom features and a few other things. Anyways, over all Program Power did a good job ... but it just wasnt my kind of thing. I'll be putting it up for trade later in the week if anyone is interested.

Yes, I ordered it from Program Power's website a while back. They did a really good job with the disc. I really like this movie. It's a must for all fans of '80s slasher cheese. You got to love the microwave death! The DVD is definitely worth picking up.

I can't for the life of me find this bastard. I almost made a trade for it, but the guy had already traded it. So then I went looking for it. Tried eBay, no dice, Half.com didn't have it. I tried Pricegrabber, but I don't remember what happened with that. Where did you get yours from? I got two of the Program Power's discs Bloodsucking Pharaohs, and Bone Yard, pretty cheap so I assume this one is too?

Oops didn't read that last line. I'll keep a look out for it when you trade it, I've gotten some new stuff since I last pestered you, maybe I'll have something you want. Got one right up your alley. It's called Kate & Leopold. I'll hang on to it for ya.

Time to bring this ancient thread back up to the top. I found a copy but wanted to get some of the newer people/people who never saw the thread here's opinions on it. It's directed by Joey, the fat annoying guy who gets hacked up at the beginning of Friday the 13th part 5, so that's gotta be worth something.

Where'd you get it? I still haven't seen it in stores. It's not something I'd order, but if I saw it cheap and had it in my hands I'd probably snag it.

There's a few on Half.com for under $10. I haven't gotten one yet but I may get one. Still not sure.

I was expecting this to be a horrible movie but I decided "what the hell" and bought it anyway. While it won't win any awards it is actually on my top 20 list of best slasher films. Any movie directed by the guy who played Joey in F 13 part 5 is worth watching. Not many people know about this movie but I highly recommend it. It's a fun movie filled with all the cheesy 80s clothes and music you would expect and the killer is a surprise. The picture on the back of the box that got me to buy it is of a guy with his head in a microwave. While the scene in the movie is really unbelieveable and not realistic at all it is an entertaining movie.

I love the movie. Bought the DVD a couple of years ago. What the hell has happened to Program Power anyways? Still in business?

I was wondering that too. Is Program Power still around? Through them a few years back I was able to contact Rick Rosseler, the director of Slaughterhouse. Sent me an awesome letter and autographed poster. Very nice guy.

Good luck with trying to find a copy of this movie. I will not sell you mine because A. I really like it and B. it is hard to find. If you are able to watch it, enjoy. It's a fun, underrated 80s horror movie.

I bought the DVD a couple years ago but I won't sell it! You can probably still buy it cheap through the Amazon marketplace or when it shows up on Ebay. It doesn't sell for that much...

I like the film alot. This and Slaughter high were two of my favorite's of the "forgotten" or should I say "never was" slasher flicks of the 80's. I got the DVD about 9 months back. I'll see if I can find the link where I ordered it from. I believe it was from the studio who actually made the DVD.
