BLACK SABBATH on Netflix "Play Now"

Is the AIP version! Nice looking transfer - I've never seen the flick in English before. The soundtrack sounds just like the Corman/Price/Poe flicks
Is this available on DVD?????

It's on my Queue in a section I've put all the Instant Play movies side by side. I'll watch it as soon as I finally watch Alice, Sweet Alice which I had delivered days ago but still haven't sat down and watched.

Rhett can't get Netflix because he's "Canadian."

Wow, the AIP version? Where the hell did they get that from? I'm going to check that out the minute I get home tonight.

Anybody else get a Roku player for their Netflix instant viewing yet? I got mine a few weeks ago and it's great. Pretty good picture quality- not the best but definitely good enough.

Also, you may want to edit the title of this thread to clarify that it's about the Bava film and not the band. My initial impression was that this going to be a thread discussing some good/rare live footage of the band perhaps.

I'm surprised that more Bava fans haven't weighed in here- this revelation is somewhat mindblowing. Maybe they're not fans of the band and are passing up checking this thread out. I'm a huge fan of the English language AIP version which I saw on TV as a kid and prefer it to the Italian version available on DVD.

Personally I don't even know what NetFlix is.I guess it's got something to do with watching "flicks" on the "net"?
Anyway,I'm pretty sure I can't watch it,living in Europe.
The news is great though and perhaps, one day,it'll get released on DVD.
Hell, even Four Flies..is on the horizon so anything is possible now!

I just came across this last night, and made the same discovery. I know its not as big a deal anymore, since the English dub is now available on BD, but I still haven't gotten around to buying that. the fact that I can now watch the English dub, with Karloff's voice intact, means I may not bother to upgrade my AB Italian-only DVD - the English dub was the primary reason I was planning on (eventually) picking it up.

I didn't know it was the AIP version on there. I'll have to check it out ASAP.
