I wonder if the cigars will be digitally removed from the film, there's supposed to be one in his mouth on the artwork:
![]() Of course they didn't sue the better poster either: ![]() (if not showing, do the copy/paste url from properties to view) |

The film isn't so bad nowadays as it use to long time ago, now the films by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer like "Epic Movie", "Disaster Movie", "Date Movie" and "Meet The Spartans" including Uwe Boll's movies like "House of the Dead" and "Alone in The Dark" are ten times worse then this movie.
At least this movie now has a campy sort of cult fun much like "Showgirls". |

Looks nice, although I was hoping for a commentary and deleted scenes. But at least the price is surprisingly low for a new released... although costs of shipping from the USA have increased. :\

I've NEVER understood all of the hate for this one, but alas, some of us are excited, and some are not. I finally scopped out the art work on over at Amazon a few days ago when I made my last monthly order. I'll pre-order it next time I'm on directly form them. Can't wait myself. So glad this finally has an official DVD release. Can't wait o see how it'll look on my LCD, which get's the good done (plus my up-convert theater system player helps a lot as well). Always had such a nice, quiet kiddie effection for this enjoyable oddball fantasy/comedy. There are just SO many more worse films out there, but alas, to each they're own. Please Lea Thompson (Back to the Future, All the Right Moves, Space Camp, Some Kind of Wonderful) never looked hotter if ya ask me ...

Even though I watched this when it first came out on VHS I can barely remember much of anything about it. Gonna have to add this one to my rental list simply for Lea Thompson.

Once again, Lea Thompson rocks in that trailer. This is one I totally didn't get a chance to see as a kid. It was in and out of theatres fast.

I rememeber seeing this as a kid and loving it
However, take away that nostalgia factor and it loses most of is charm. That said, I can't understand the extreme hate it receives either. It's not THAT bad. You've all been brainwashed by Lucas because he wants you to hate this! Don't buy into it, praise this movie!! Viva la Duckvolucion!!

I'm going to stick to my DVD-R copy. Fun film, but not the greatest!! Maybe if I find a dirt cheap copy, I'll pick it up!
