God this looks great. Romero must be thinking, why couldn't I have a budget like this to work with?

It's because Romero himself is choosing to not work for a major studio. Besides, if given a real choice, he would prefer to make something other than zombie films. I doubt he cares.

I was under the impression that the major studios don't want to work with the likes of Romero, Carpenter, Gilliam, etc. Regardless, my expectations for anything zombie related has never been so high. I can't wait.

Major studios basically want to capitalize on Romero's name, but don't otherwise want him to have any real say in the productions. Romero's whole world view pretty much runs counter to working with large corporations. He didn't like the money men and other execs poking their noses in while he was working, from what I've heard.

Fuck, I can't wait for this. The Walking Dead comic books got me back into comics in general.

Yeah this looks amazing, hopefully it's even half as good as the comic series! Still need to pick up the rest of the trades, hopefully I can find them for good prices at the Fan Expo in August.

wow. Wish this was a DeadWorld adaption instead of The Walking Dead though. But oh well, it's zombies on TV in the hands of a more than capable directer so I wont complain....I'm just sayin...thats all =)

Man! I love DeadWorld! Read it since the beginning back in the 80s, but have to say that Walking Dead is better!

BTW: If you're in Flint, MI, check out my buddy Chris Ringler. He is an author and horror fanatic up there. He is usually at the local conventions.
