Looking for Movie

What I remember: three or four men on a camping/hunting trip experience weird stuff in the woods.

That's not much to go on but I do know it was released by Warner Home Video between 1986 and 1989. Probably shot in Canada, and it was rated PG-13 (I think). I'm pretty sure it was a direct-to-video release.

I think the title contained the word "woods" or "wood" but I'm not 100% positive about that.

It was an adventure mystery thriller of some sorts, though the cover art made it out like a horror movie (hand holding rifle and nope, its not Wolf Lake).

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's not Rituals?

I've seen Rituals and its not it.

Its more like High Desert Kill (1989) without the sci-fi angle.

Never mind, I just found it

I was wrong about the rifle but the rest was pretty close:

Storm (1987)

Seen it only once when first released on VHS, so its been ages.
I remember kind of liking it. Had its share of quirky and thrilling moments. I was hoping to find it complete on youtube for a re-watch but no such luck.

I'm guessing this never made it to DVD? I searched "Storm" on amazon, but got too many results to sift through.

I did find the VHS listing.

The description here sounded right up my alley, so I ordered the VHS for a whopping 85 cents.

I hope it is good! Canuxploitation mentioned that it was similar to Trapped, which I really enjoyed.
