Cineploit releases M. Giombinis "Le Notti.. & Antropophagus" on 7" Single

Hi there,
i think a few of you fellas remembers the eerie and cheesy Maintheme to Joe D'Amatos "Erotic Nights of the Living Dead" ( Le Notti Erotiche dei morti Viventi) from 1980 composed by Marcello Giombini under the pseudonym Pluto Kennedy.

Unfortunatley there was never a soundtrack release of this excellent score by Maestro Giombini, along with his music he composed for "The Grim Reaper" (Antropophagus) from the same year, because du to the sad facts that the original mastertapes were destroyed in the mid-eighties by Nazionalmusic s.a.s / Milan
So back in 2007 i produced and re-recorded in collaboration with Roger Conrad under my pseudonym Deak Ferance this track in my studio, along with some tracks of "Antropophagus".
During the production i tried to keep the original sound and feeling of that tune as close as i could to the original recording.

listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRNjpY8GaxE

Now, i'm proud to announce that this version will be released in Summer 2012 as 350 copies limited edition on classy 7" Vinylsingle via austrian Label CINEPLOIT.
On the B-side of the Single you will find two tracks of Giombinis music to "Antropophagus" (also re-recorded as mentioned above)

Tracklist:
Side A: "Tema di Le Notti Erotiche dei morti Viventi"
Side B1: "Tema die Antropophagus"
Side B2: "Le Catacombe"

for further Infos or feel free to ask me.

greetings
Udo Schubert aka Deak Ferance

Sounds awesome! What synths did you use in the reproduction of the track? It's got a great vintage vibe.

So Marcello did this then with an ARP 2600.

So i used the following Equipment:

Arturia ARP 2600v Synthesizer (Vst-Plugin)
Korg M1 Synthesizer (Vst-Plugin)
Rop Papen Albino Synthesizer (Vst-Plugin)
Steinberg Halion 3 Sampler Vst-Plugin (especially for the choir sounds)
and
Native Instruments Battery for the Drums (with a sampled accoustic drumset)

Recorded and mixed on Steinberg Cubase SX

Due to the strong limitation of 350 and a lot of response and sellings of the Vinylsingle, the edition is almost Sold-Out !!
Get your last copy now at: http://www.cineploit.com

Thanks for your support and my warmest thanks and appreciation

We are continuing our work in some of lost Giombini scores.
Roger Conrad is working on four further tracks for the movies "The Grim Reaper (Antropophagus)" and "Erotic Nights of the Livind Dead (Le Notti Erotiche dei morti viventi)"
Also we are planning to reproduce and re-record some tracks for the movies "Terror Express (La ragazze del vagone letto (1979)" and "The Story of Juliane Köpcke (i miracoli accdono ancora (1974). Both also great electronic scores by Maestro Marcello Giombini.
