Not to mention Halloween 4 and 5 on Blu-ray next month.

And to some consent, the Joe Somebody AB release included most of the extras from the Fox DVD (with the exception of the commentary) and a featurette not on the Fox release and Project X (with Matthew Broderick) has some vintage featurettes that weren't available on the old DVD (though the old DVD had an additional trailer and 2 TV spots). I do wish Anchor Bay put in a little more effort of adding more classic extras of the films they own and sub-license. I'll tell you right now, if Freaked gets a Blu release I'll buy it, bare-bones or not.

Oh definitely. If I didn't, I would have just cancelled my preorder on it.

Always a favorite of mine. I remember seeing this late night on Showtime back in 1982. I wasn't grossed out by the effects (which looked 'okay') since I was already spoiled by "Friday the 13th" and ,especially, "Maniac" but was won over by the leading actresses in the film. I really liked the trio of friends so that when the final act of the film came up, I was on the edge of the couch.

Troma should consider showing their movies on IFC. The channel may show commercials during movies now, but they still show them uncut, uncensored, and unedited.

I was just thinking that. It comes 2 weeks. Strange we haven't seen any review or anyone getting a review copy yet.

Troma releases seem to always be delayed. I wouldn't be shocked if it's the case for Mother's Day on AB. After all, it was already delayed countless times when Troma themselves were still going to release it on Blu-ray.

Anchor Bay has been pretty reliable when it comes to street dates. I'm sure we will get it this time.

But after seeing that they dropped extras from the Halloween blu-rays, I'm starting to worry that Kat is right about the current state of Anchor Bay.

dropped extras as in commentary and other featurettes and also giving false info that dont even exist as in deleted scenes
