That's good to hear about Killer Klowns. I've got the DVD but will buy the blu if the transfer is an upgrade.

MGM? We've got a real good shot at a US release then.

Giddy Up.

As much as I'd love to have Jeepers on Blu, I have a bad gut feeling that I should just wait like I did with the Blade movies for far better US versions. Sucks that the US versions are often a year or 2 behind, but that is the lone benefit of time flying by as I get older.

Just clicked the links, and wow is that Jeepers cover fugly. The best part of seeing that film the first time was not knowing what that creepy old dude's deal was, then the reveal. So now they spoil it on the cover? Bi-lingual is double ugly, hopefully the transfer isn't. Good reviews and cheap price tag could still change my mind though.

Would love to see those as well, but I'm hoping Clowns & Jeepers are decent.

By "creepy old dude" I thought you meant Victor Salva, so when I clicked on the link and saw the actual cover, it was far less scary.

Isn't that just a up-coverted SD master though? I recall some Carpenter flicks had substandard other region BDs. Maybe I'm mixing it up with Escape from New York, or maybe it was both of those.
