Jang Chul-soo's BEDEVILLED (2010) coming from Well Go
Didn't get enough Korean revenge with OLDBOY, I SAW THE DEVIL, THE YELLOW SEA and THE CHASER? Then you're in luck, because Well Go is releasing Jang Chul-soo's BEDEVILLED (2010)! High maintenance office gal Hae-won is visiting her childhood playmate Bok-nam on the secluded island she once called home. She soon finds the general populace a despicable bunch who routinely humiliate, beat and otherwise abuse her friend, until Bok-nam is finally pushed to the breaking point, unleashing a sickle-wielding slaughterthon that paints the beach red. Pretty much universally acclaimed, I haven't seen BEDEVILLED yet, but what I've heard makes me pretty excited to check it out.

Haven't seen this yet but I'm certainly a fan of Asian films. Unfortunately it appears that not too many on this site are. Not a lot of response to your posts Bruce.

I purchased this DVD on a Blind buy when Blockbuster was closing up in Canada. I remember thinking It was pretty good revenge flick.

This just now popped up on Netflix streaming...really excited to check this out since I was just recently contemplating a blind buy. I've only ever seen the trailer and it seemed somewhat in the same vein as "Dream Home," which I loved...

I watched BEDEVILLED a little while back and unfortunately it didn't really click with me. Definitely some effective moments, but as a whole I didn't feel it was at the same level as other similar titles. I was also expecting the revenge part to be, well... wetter.
Win some, lose some.
