MGM's Limited Edition Collection titles are only $10.99 today at Amazon. Not sure how long the sale will last. I stocked up on a bunch!

Shouldn't these never go OOP. Since they are just stored on a drive and burnt on demand. Unless they are coming out with an official release it makes no damn sense.

House of 1000 Dolls is still available at wbshop.com, but it's more expensive at $17.95. Maybe it'll appear on Amazon again, in the near future...

Wasn't able to get BUSTING on Amazon, either -- which is especially annoying since it's the one I wanted most! Ending up grabbing NEW YEAR'S EVIL and DEFIANCE to go along with my OCTAMAN and OUTLAW BROTHERS preorders.

Here's one that almost slipped by: The Warner Archive Collection give a made-on-demand release to Douglas Hickox's SITTING TARGET (1972)! Slowly serving his sentence with dreams of making it back to his wife, convict Oliver Reed gets a rude wake-up call when he learns of her unfaithfulness. Enraged, he stages an escape with only one thing on his mind: Murder. You don't want to piss off Oliver Reed. Another mean, gritty, nihilistic British thriller for fans of GET CARTER, THE SQUEEZE and VILLAIN.

I did not realize that Warner Archive had released The Halloween Tree!
I have it on VHS, but the sound is starting to distort. |

I think my final MOD purchases will be MY DEMON LOVER (which I had totally forgotten about) and SITTING TARGET. Oh, and I still haven't bought POSITIVE I.D. (1986) from Universal. But with the Archive going Blu and all those former MOD titles getting an upgrade from Shout, there's really no reason to throw money away on the burned-on-demand format. It would be foolish to think MOD is going away, but I'm certainly not going to keep spending $20 on DVD-Rs, even for movies I really enjoy.
